Yallah! Underground

Farid Eslam, 2015, 85 min., 14A

Artists in the Middle East have struggled for years to express themselves freely and to promote more liberal attitudes within their societies. Yallah! Underground follows some of today’s most significant and progressive Arab underground artists through years of rapid change between 2009 and 2013, including the Arab Spring.

This screening may contain mature subject matter. Viewer discretion is advised.
