The thirteen member Ensemble is thrilled to be back in the Nanji Family Foundation Auditorium to present this captivating and heartfelt performance.

There is nothing in the world of modal music quite like the Labyrinth Ensemble. A fiercely eclectic group — think Hardanger fiddle, guzheng and microtonal guitar — they drink deeply from tradition to create unique, contemporary concert experiences.

Toronto’s premier large modal music group returns to the Aga Khan Museum for an evening of classical Turkish repertoire. Husband-wife duo Canan Sezgin Geylan and Yahya Geylan will lead the Labyrinth Ensemble through two weeks of intensive study and rehearsal, teaching them the rich vocabulary of Turkish modal music.
