Bringing together three distinguished artists of Hindustani classical music, this performance unites the expressive sounds of the sarod, sitar, and tabla. Sarod maestro Pt. Partho Sarothy, acclaimed sitarist Vidushi Mita Nag, and tabla virtuoso Pt. Subhen Chatterjee come together for an evening of intricate melody, rhythmic interplay, and spontaneous musical exchange.
Drawing on generations of musical lineage and decades of performance experience, the artists bring distinct approaches and traditions to the stage. From the resonant depth of the sarod and the lyrical beauty of the sitar to the intricate rhythms of the tabla, the performance celebrates the artistry, improvisation, and enduring legacy of Indian classical music.
