Make the Aga Khan Museum a favourite family destination. With a constantly changing roster of programs, events, and exhibitions, the Museum will ensure your visit is always a new adventure.

FAMILY EXPLORATION KIT

Available daily during Museum hours.

Use the materials in your Kit to launch your own family exploration of the galleries. Go on a creature hunt, complete a pattern, or write your own adventure story. Pick up a Kit at the front desk anytime, free with admission to the galleries. Designed for families with children between the ages of 5 and 12. Adult accompaniment is required.

FAMILY FUN IN THE EDUCATION CENTRE

Every Sunday from noon to 4 pm. Free with admission to the galleries.

Sundays are Family Days at the Aga Khan Museum. Drop into our classrooms to participate in art games, solve puzzles, or make a fantastic animal mask. Designed for families with children between the ages of 5 and 12. Adult accompaniment is required.

FAMILY DAY 2020

Monday, February 17, 2020, 12 - 4 pm

Join us for hands-on family fun in our Education Centre from 12 to 4 pm! Create your own Museum-worthy art inspired by the colours and patterns in Contemporary Persians and Syria: A Living History. Free with Museum admission. Designed for children aged 5–12. Adult accompaniment required

ARTISTS’ RESIDENCIES

Watch artists create, teach, learn, and present during their short-term residencies at the Aga Khan Museum. While in residence, artists may participate in panel discussions and lecture demonstrations, and take part in the Hive Jam Sessions with local artists.

SCHOOL PERFORMANCES

The Aga Khan Museum’s Education and Scholarly Programs and Performing Arts Departments jointly present live performances tailored for school audiences. Prepare yourself for new sights and sounds — and a new understanding of world cultures.
