Aga Khan Museum Camps
Aga Khan Museum camps offer children extraordinary and inspiring experiences through creative and social activities. Campers, aged 6 to 12, experiment with various mediums to craft their own masterpieces and make new friends.
Camps run every summer from July to August and during March Break.
Unique and Enriching
By providing children with a safe space to practice and develop new artistic and social skills, our camps foster self-confidence and a sense of independence through activities that challenge their creativity. As they delve into hands-on projects that spark their inspiration, campers develop skills while having fun, making camps both engaging and educational.
Creative Exploration
Children are introduced to an array of artistic styles through a series of hands-on activities inspired by the Museum’s special exhibitions and Collections. They learn about the Museum’s artifacts through storytelling, connecting with the pieces by relating them to real-life experiences.
Campers explore the rich history and diversity of the Muslim world which spans from China to Southwest Asia, North Africa, and Spain, discovering various styles, patterns, and motifs. This immersive experience not only broadens their artistic knowledge but also deepens their appreciation for cultural heritage and connection.
Space for Inspiration
The Aga Khan Museum provides campers with a stunning backdrop to learn. From the awe-inspiring architecture and captivating Collections to the vibrant Aga Khan Park, there are ample opportunities for your little artists to find inspiration and express themselves in a welcoming, inclusive environment. This blend of indoor and outdoor experiences ensures a dynamic and enriching environment where children can develop a sense of belonging and community.
