JOY: The Art of Connection School In Residence Program
In partnership with the Peel District School Board, JOY: The Art of Connection School In Residence Program brings students to the Aga Khan Museum for an inspiring week of learning, creativity, and connection.
This week long program places students in the Museum’s Collections, inviting them to explore and learn about a range of ceramics, paintings, manuscripts, and more. Guided by Museum Educators, students draw inspiration from these objects to create their own art projects while making connections to their personal experiences and identities.
The continued partnership between the Aga Khan Museum and the Peel District School Board strengthens the Museum’s commitment to fostering creativity, dialogue, and community engagement. By expanding how young people and educators connect with art, we reinforce that learning flourishes when we come together.
The program ends with a celebration showcasing the students’ creative work.
