A World in Common on Thursday, January 27 will feature contributions from a diverse line-up of artists, activists, and leaders — thinkers who enrich our own understanding of our relationship with the natural world and how we can preserve it for future generations.

A World in Common is presented as part of the French Institute in Paris’s global Night of Ideas (La Nuit des Idées). Debuting in 2016, the soirée invites renowned French and international thinkers to engage with the most interesting and relevant issues of our time. Taking place annually on the last Thursday of January, Night of Ideas has grown to include more than 200 spinoff events in about 100 countries.
