One of the most esteemed dancers in Spain, Mercedes Ruiz has won countless prestigious flamenco dance awards such as the Critics Award at the Jerez Festival and the Exhibition Award at the Seville Biennial. She has been performing professionally since the age of seven and has toured across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Ruiz started her own company, Compania Mercedes Ruiz, in 2003 and has since created 10 award-winning productions.
A recipient of some of the most prestigious awards in the industry, Santiago Lara is a world-renowned guitarist, producer, composer, and musical director. He has released five solo albums and has performed at countless festivals all over the world, from the Flamenco Festival in New York to the Seville Biennial in Spain. Lara has toured with Manolo Sanlúcar, with whom he recorded "Madea," one of the most important symphonic works of flamenco.
