Bellerive Conversations

Rebuild 2020

Bellerive Conversations

Date: This event has been cancelled

The Bellerive Conversations series has been temporarily suspended in response to public health restrictions aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19.

Help Rebuild 2020 with us at our Bellerive Conversations (formerly Courtyard Conversation), happening on Fridays at 4:30 pm in the Bellerive Room.

For this new series, we welcome speakers from the museum world and beyond to discuss their personal trajectory in work and life and how they envision building a better future post-COVID-19. Each hour-long session will feature a fascinating 20- to 25-minute talk from an Aga Khan Museum expert or special guest, who will then open the floor for questions and commentary. We invite you to ask questions, provide feedback, and share new ideas.

Don't miss our upcoming Bellerive Conversations:

Friday, November 7 — “A Curator's Path” — Dr. Marika Sardar, the Museum’s resident specialist in South Asian painting from the 16th to 18th centuries, traces her path from her scholarly explorations as an art student, to curatorial stints in San Diego and Qatar, to joining us here in Toronto. Discover how COVID-19 has affected her work as a curator and her ideas for the future of the Museum.

The Bellerive Conversations series is part of Rebuild 2020, the Aga Khan Museum’s program to reconnect and reinvigorate communities through the arts.
