Delve into the origins of the elaborate, curving patterns adorning Islamic art and architecture with instructor Unaiza Karim. Then, develop unique designs of your own in fluid watercolour and ink!

Unaiza Karim is an award-winning artist and arts educator from the United Kingdom. She specializes in decorative arts from the Islamic tradition, with a particular focus on manuscript illumination. Unaiza holds a Master’s degree in Visual Islamic and Traditional Arts from The Prince’s School of Traditional Art, London. Her work has been exhibited locally and internationally, and she teaches extensively, providing public workshops in museums, schools, universities, and private classes at her home studio.
