Join us for an unparalleled night of art, music, storytelling, comedy, and dance hosted by the Aga Khan Museum, Aga Khan Park, and the Ismaili Centre, Toronto.

This year’s program, Arrivals and Encounters, features more than 80 artists gathered to share their vision in over 30 performances and two installations, spread across ten unique spaces, including an all-American Airstream, a Mongolian yurt, and an Indigenous teepee.

You’re invited to explore and contemplate what it means to live in a city of constant change.
Inspired by the many people who call Toronto home — Indigenous peoples, settlers, refugees, and immigrants— there is something for everyone at Arrivals and Encounters.

Highlights:

  • Discover a vibrant installation by acclaimed street artist and designer Javid a.k.a. JAH in the Aga Khan Park’s reflecting pools
  • Come play with a wide range of musicians during jam sessions in our Mongolian yurt
  • Experience a unique one-on-one dance and storytelling performance of your spirit by artist Brian Solomon
  • Enjoy a comedy showcase hosted by The Imposter’s Aliya Pabani
  • Explore the Museum Collection’s gallery until midnight
  • Participate in Rumi Canada’s midnight Sufi sama with whirling dervishes
  • Welcome sunrise with Raag-Mala Music Society of Toronto and with Native Women in the Arts
  • Expand your musical horizons with artists like Narcy, Kaia Kater, Bernice, Pantayo, Blue Spiral, Moskitto Bar, Amai Kuda et Les Bois, Tafelmusik, Ziibiwan, and more!
