Spark your inspiration this March Break at the Aga Khan Museum! Enjoy free activities inspired by the Museum's current themed installation, Water and explore how different cultures celebrate Nowruz with arts and crafts all week long. Packed with interactive fun for all ages, the Museum's activities will have you solving puzzles, crafting paper eggs, and following Family Trails through the Museum Collections Gallery.

 

Schedule

10 am–5 pm | Activities in the Atrium | March 11–19

11 am–5 pm | Family Activities in the Classroom | March 11, 12, 18, and 19

 


Join us on Sunday, March 19, for a special Nowruz celebration!

Decorate eggs, take home spring-inspired arts and crafts, and learn more about Nowruz and the traditional haft sin table, all taking place in the Atrium and Aga Khan Museum Education Centre from 11 am–5 pm.

Artist Talk: Shaheer Zazai

March 19 | 2 pm | $20 Regular, $18 Friends, $15 Students

 

Join an insightful conversation with contemporary artist Shaheer Zazai and Special Projects Curator Marianne Fenton as they explore his use of Microsoft Word as a creative tool and the inspiration behind his work in Afghanistan My Love

 

Following the talk, continue the conversation while you weave your own colourful mini carpet in a weaving workshop!
