About Vida

Performed by artists in The National Ballet of Canada's RBC Apprentice Program and choreographed by Carmen RomeroVida uses the spirit of Spanish dance to explore the energy and experience of life, combining the strength and elegance of ballet with the passion and fire of flamenco. Founded in 1951, The National Ballet of Canada is internationally renowned for its diverse repertoire of performances that range from traditional full-length classics to contemporary work, as well as the creation of new ballets with a focus on developing Canadian choreographers.
