Bios:
The Soul Motivators are a True-North phenomenon, blending funk, soul, hip-hop breaks, and psychedelic beats. Since 2012, this hard-hitting Toronto 9-piece has moved masses at TD Jazz, Beaches Jazz Festival, Canadian Music Week and NXNE, and played alongside legends including Grandmaster Flash, Afrika Bambaataa, Lee Fields, Bernie Worrell and The Slackers. If raw, soulful vocals, car-chase funk, and heavy, heavy grooves are your thing, then it’s time to hit the dancefloor — and let yourself be motivated.
Founded in 2005, F.A.M. (Future Art Movement) are one of Toronto’s top breakdance crews. As performers, they showcase hip-hop culture with next-level breakdancing at stages across Canada and around the world. As educators, they have engaged residents of marginalized neighbourhoods across the Americas.
