Part of Youth Access and Wellbeing Through Art

Museums today are dynamic spaces that invite reflection, ease stress, and foster a sense of belonging within communities.
The Aga Khan Museum and GreenShield™ have partnered to expand youth access to art and resources that nurture wellbeing.

Slow Looking Experience
The Slow Looking Experience, presented by GreenShield™ encourages you to spend more time with fewer artworks, noticing details and letting your thoughts unfold. By slowing down, you can connect more deeply with art, reduce mental overload, and create space for calm, reflection, and wellbeing. Instead of glancing briefly and moving on, you settle in. You notice details you would otherwise miss. You let your mind wander.
Brochures featuring selected artworks are provided for visitors. We encourage you to take (or download) one and enjoy the Museum at your own pace.
Please track how you feel before and after your visit, as it’s valuable for us to understand how slow looking benefits our visitors’ wellbeing.
Show your completed evaluation on your phone or hand in the brochure at the Guest Services Centre. Youth 25 and under will receive a coupon for 15% off at the Courtyard Café.
Youth Access
Free youth access, made possible by GreenShield™, provides free admission to the Museum for all youth aged 25 and under, and supports the broader goals of equity, inclusion, and mental wellbeing.
The program aims to reduce barriers to arts and culture for young people while promoting mental health and wellbeing and providing meaningful opportunities for youth to engage with art in ways that foster resilience, reflection, and long-term connection to culture.
Show your youth access admission ticket at the Museum Shop for a 10% discount off your purchase.
