The Aga Khan Museum is thrilled to welcome the Great Canadian Jersey for a limited time.
The Great Canadian Jersey is a commemorative project created by Rogers that celebrates Canada’s deep connection to hockey by uniting pieces of jerseys from every province and territory into a single patchwork design.
Handcrafted by former OHL player and designer Cameron Lizotte, the jersey incorporates elements from professional, minor league, women’s, girls’, and recreational teams—including the seven Canadian NHL franchises and notable players such as Connor McDavid, Marie-Philip Poulin, and Sarah Nurse—to reflect the many levels and communities that shape the sport.
The project is intended as a symbol of national pride and unity, highlighting how sport connects people across regions, generations, and styles of play throughout the country.
