Tapestry Jam – 7:30–9:30 pm
Tapestry Jam is a live, genre-defying music series rooted in spontaneity, curiosity, and deep listening. Curated by Toronto-based artist and organizer Shaunt Raffi, each edition brings together four musicians who remain anonymous to one another—and to the audience—until the moment they step on stage. With no rehearsals and no prior collaboration, what unfolds is a raw, unfiltered exploration of sound that blurs the lines between cultures, genres, and traditions.
At its core, Tapestry Jam is about trust—trusting the moment, the music, and the collective act of improvisation. The format invites both musicians and listeners into a shared space of vulnerability and imagination, where boundaries dissolve and unexpected connections emerge.
Since its inception in 2023, the series has grown into a vibrant community gathering, offering a platform for some of the city’s most adventurous artists while remaining deeply rooted in values of experimentation, cultural dialogue, and presence.
Whether you’re an avid listener or a first-time attendee, Tapestry Jam offers an experience that is never the same twice—but always unforgettable.
