The Aga Khan Museum is proud to partner with Classic Legends Indian Films Festival (CLIFF) — a celebration of Indian cinema, bringing together timeless classics, acclaimed contemporary films, distinguished filmmakers, and engaging conversations. The festival honours India’s rich cinematic legacy while creating a global platform for screenings, retrospectives, cultural exchange, and dialogue between cinema, literature, and the performing arts.
As the concluding screening of Romantic Ravivaar at CLIFF 2026, Kabhi Kabhie offers audiences a chance to experience a landmark of Hindi romantic cinema once again – on the big screen, with its poetry, music and timeless story of love across generations.
Kabhi Kabhie
Yash Chopra’s 1976 classic begins with the love between poet Amit and Pooja, whose lives take separate paths when Pooja marries Vijay. Years later, the next generation brings their families together, revealing how memories, relationships, and decisions from the past continue to echo in the present.
Featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Rakhee, Shashi Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Rishi Kapoor, and Neetu Singh, the film combines an ensemble cast with the poetry of Sahir Ludhianvi and the soulful music of Khayyam. Its songs and verses have become part of the cultural memory of Hindi cinema.
