Pandit Budhaditya Mukherjee, one of the greatest living exponents of the sitar, brings decades of mastery shaped by the Imdadkhani Gharana. His playing is both meditative and transcendent — melodic lines unfolding with lyrical grace and extraordinary technique.
Rooted in tradition, Arnab Chakrabarty is a sarod artist known for his refined and deeply expressive style. His performance offers a journey through raga that balances contemplation, intensity, and devotional beauty.
Adding rhythmic brilliance to the evening is Ustad Sukhvinder Singh Pinky, a Grammy-winning tabla and jori master whose power and subtlety have accompanied legends around the world.

With a dynamic blend of internationally renowned artists and deeply rooted community voices, ISHQ invites Torontonians to engage with art that is not just seen or heard—but profoundly felt. Now in its latest evolution, Small World Music continues its nearly 30-year legacy of bridging communities through transformative live experiences, cultural connection, and a deep commitment to the global arts landscape.
