Step into a world where art meets science in this hands-on exploration of colour-making traditions in Islamic art. Guided by our Museum Educators, participants will work with raw materials, from minerals to plants, to create pigments using time-honoured methods. Drawing inspiration from illuminated manuscripts and artworks in the Aga Khan Museum Collections, participants will use their custom colours to decorate a bookmark, blending creativity with centuries-old knowledge.
