Reserve your spot and see Saks Afridi: SpaceMosque with fellow Members before the exhibition opens to the public on October 24.

Be among the first to experience a richly imagined para-fictional world  blending science fiction, spirituality, and alternative histories. SpaceMosque is a speculative narrative that examines a forgotten global event at the turn of the millennium.

Multidisciplinary artist and award-winning creative director Saks Afridi invites you to reflect on the state of our world, morality, and power of individual and communal desire asking: “If all your prayers were answered, would it change the world, or just yours?

In recognition of your Museum support, receive a free hot drink and pastry at the Courtyard Café, on Friends’ Preview Day (October 23 only). To redeem, pick up your voucher from the Friends Preview Day table in the Museum Atrium (from 10:30 am–4 pm).

Join us at 2 pm for a Member-exclusive presentation featuring artist Saks Afridi and Museum curator Marianne Fenton.

Hear directly from Saks Afridi about the inspiration behind this wildly imaginative speculative history, and discover how the project evolved through his creative practice and the contributions of a diverse network of collaborators. You will learn how the exhibition developed in partnership with the Museum to become the immersive experience on view today.
