Doors Open returns to the Aga Khan Museum, Aga Khan Park, and Ismaili Centre, Toronto. Enjoy a weekend full of free tours, family activities, live music, and more during Toronto’s annual festival!



Architecture-Inspired Tours
Free | 10:30 am–4:30 pm
Immerse yourself in the Museum’s award-winning architecture, Formal Gardens, and Courtyard with a free tour. Plus, enjoy a rare opportunity to step inside the Nanji Family Foundation Auditorium — one of the Museum’s true architectural gems.
The 20-minute tours are offered every 30 minutes and are limited to 20 visitors per session. Tickets will be available outside the main doors on a first-come, first-served basis.
Family Activities
Live Object Storytelling • Museum Collections Gallery • 10:30 am–5 pm
Join the Museum’s Educators as they bring objects from the Permanent Collection to life.
Arts and Crafts • Education Centre* • 10:30 am–5 pm
*Tickets will be issued outside the Education Centre on a first-come, first-served basis 15 minutes before each session. Sessions begin on the half-hour and are 20 minutes in duration. The last session begins at 4:30 pm.

Watch and listen as local artists bring the Museum and Park to life with free live performances throughout the day. Pop-up Performances at the Museum are sponsored by TD Bank Group.

Kour Pour: Cosmic Diagrams • Museum Collections Gallery
Journey through shared visions of the cosmos and explore the kaleidoscopic ways humanity has interpreted the universe through Cosmic Diagrams, the visionary work of Los Angeles-based artist Kour Pour.
#hopeandhealingcanada • Aga Khan Park
Reflect on a journey of self-discovery and cultural reclamation woven through a transformative installation by artist Tracey-Mae Chambers. #hopeandhealingcanada maps out questions of identity while sparking dialogue on displacement, decolonization, and reconciliation.
Muqarnas: Form and Light • Aga Khan Park
Experience the intricate splendour and stunning diversity of muqarnas in Islamic architecture through a selection of photographs by Toronto-based artist Glenn McArthur. Now part of the 2025 CONTACT Photography Festival, Muqarnas: Form and Light is on display in the Aga Khan Park.
Getting to the Museum
The Museum is easy to get to by public transit. From downtown, take the 100A from Broadview station, the 25B, or the 925 from Pape station. From the north, take the 925 bus southbound on Don Mills Rd (route begins at Steeles). Use the TTC’s Trip Planner to plan your route.
The Museum is accessible by car via Don Mills Rd, Eglinton Ave East, or the Don Valley Parkway (DVP). Take the Wynford Dr exit.
Bicycle parking is available free of charge.
Doors Open Toronto
Doors Open is a free event that invites the public to discover Toronto’s sites of architectural, historical, and cultural significance. Since its inception in 2000, Doors Open Toronto has attracted more than two million visits to nearly 700 unique locations. It is Canada’s largest Doors Open event and one of the three largest in the world.
