Sports are a common thread in cultural identity. So how do sports reflect, or even transcend culture? Do they show us at our worst or best?
Join award-winning executive producer and author Craig Colby as he explores what role sports play in society, from shaping families to uniting nations. The panel will discuss the benefits and costs of sports’ central role in our society.
Craig will be joined by Karl Subban, a best-selling author, principal in the Toronto District School Board, and father of three children who were signed to NHL contracts, including P.K. Subban, Morgan Campbell, award-winning journalist and author who writes about sports and culture, and musician Natasha Baig, who credits sport as having shaped her discipline and sense of community long before music did.
