Chandni
Chandni follows a young woman whose romance with Rohit is tested by an unexpected tragedy and the pressures of family and circumstance. As she begins to rebuild her life, a new relationship presents her with a choice between the past and the possibility of a different future.
Directed by Yash Chopra and starring Sridevi, Rishi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna, this 1989 romantic drama is remembered for its luminous imagery, expressive performances, and enduring songs. For an entire generation, Chandni became more than a love story, it became a visual and musical expression of romance itself.
