Game On! All summer long!
Inspired by the Aga Khan Museum’s collections and the upcoming exhibition Game On!, campers ages 6 to 12 will explore the art, strategy, and creativity behind games from around the world. Throughout the summer, campers will design and build their own games, craft handmade boards and pieces, experiment with puzzles and storytelling, and participate in collaborative challenges that combine creativity, problem-solving, and imagination.
Each week introduces a new theme — from global games and strategy challenges to imaginative storytelling and game design — giving campers the opportunity to create custom board games, sculpt game pieces, build puzzles, invent characters, and test their ideas through playful competition. Through hands-on making, gallery exploration, and outdoor activities, campers will discover how games connect cultures, inspire creativity, and bring people together.
Junior (ages 6-8) and Senior (ages 9-12) Summer Camp sessions run weekly for six weeks, starting July 7.

Junior Camp
Ages 6–8
Our Junior Summer Camp invites young campers to explore the joy of play through creativity, discovery, and hands-on making. Inspired by the Game On! exhibition, campers will experiment with art, puzzles, storytelling, and imaginative games while designing their own creations. Throughout the week, they will build board games, craft game pieces, create puzzles, and participate in active outdoor challenges, all while exploring the museum’s galleries and spaces. Designed for curious young learners, the program encourages creativity, collaboration, and confidence through playful exploration.
Senior Camp
Ages 9–12
Our Senior Summer Camps offer older campers the opportunity to dive deeper into the creativity and strategy behind games. Inspired by the Game On! exhibition, campers will explore game design, storytelling, and artistic creation, while developing their own games and imaginative worlds. Through hands-on projects such as designing custom game boards, creating characters and game pieces, building puzzles, and testing original games with peers, campers will strengthen their creative thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. This program encourages independence and innovation as campers experiment with ideas and bring their creations to life.
