Education Centre
Price: $20 (materials included)
Age: 12+
Duration: 1 hour
Please note: Both children and caregivers require tickets for the workshop. Children 12 and under must be supervised by a caregiver during the workshop to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Through this hands-on workshop, discover the art of metal embossing inspired by the patterns and craftsmanship found in the Aga Khan Museum’s Collections.
Working with copper, participants will learn simple yet effective techniques to shape and decorate metal surfaces. Guided by our Museum Educators, you’ll design and create your own embossed bookmark, exploring how artists across the Islamic world have transformed metal into objects of both beauty and function for centuries.
