2026 Rhythms of Canada

Wednesday, July 1, 2026

10 am–5:30 pm

Please note, festivities are planned to continue rain or shine — weather-appropriate attire is recommended.

Save the date for the Aga Khan Museum’s annual summer festival!

Celebrate the diverse tapestry we call home at the Rhythms of Canada festival, a vibrant, free, family-friendly cultural celebration returning on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, across the Aga Khan Museum, Aga Khan Park, and the Ismaili Centre Toronto.

Taking place on Canada Day, the festival invites visitors to experience a celebration of cultures, creativity, and community, transforming the site into a true world in a city.

Schedule

Throughout the day, the festival comes alive with a dynamic program featuring main stage concerts, live local performances, and community-led activations. In the spirit of sport, dancers and artists rooted in diverse cultural traditions perform and engage with audiences across the site, celebrating movement, heritage, and cultural expression. Visitors can also explore hands-on arts and crafts, participate in interactive workshops, and enjoy carnival and game-themed experiences designed to spark curiosity, play, and connection. Festival-goers will also enjoy free access to the Museum Collections Gallery.
