Join us at 1 pm for a Member-exclusive presentation featuring artist, Jawa El Khash and Game On! Curator, Bita Pourvash.
They will share insights into the making of this exhibition and how El Khash’s work with digital games and interactive simulations allows them to be powerful tools for storytelling, social exchange, and carrying traditions forward.
In Damask Rose, an interactive journey which will be on display in Game On!, El Khash reimagines the 18th-century fountain of the Azem Palace in Damascus, thought to have once hosted a race game played with rose petals carried by flowing water.
