Through this hands-on workshop, discover the art of metal embossing inspired by the patterns and craftsmanship found in the Aga Khan Museum Collections. Working with copper, participants will learn simple yet effective techniques to shape and decorate metal surfaces. Guided by our Museum Educators, you’ll design and create your own embossed bookmark, exploring how artists across the Islamic world have transformed metal into objects of both beauty and function for centuries.
