Photography at the Aga Khan Museum and Aga Khan Park

The Aga Khan Museum is renowned for its impressive architecture and pristine landscaping, making it the picture-perfect location for taking photos. Before your visit, please consult our photography guidelines to ensure the best possible experience for you and other guests.

Outside the Museum

Visitors to the Aga Khan Park are enthusiastically encouraged to take pictures while there. The Park is open seven days a week from dawn until dusk (closing at 10 pm from April 1 to October 31). Its formal gardens, designed by renowned landscape architect Vladimir Djurovic, feature beautiful trees, manicured lawns, and five reflecting pools

Inside the Museum

Visitors can take photographs inside the Museum, but the use of flash is not allowed in the galleries. Selfie sticks and tripods are also prohibited in the galleries.

Photography is sometimes restricted in the second-floor gallery. Please read the signs or consult a Museum representative to see whether any temporary restrictions are in place.

Booking a Professional Photoshoot

Professional wedding or engagement photoshoots, using your photographer, can be booked in 90-minute blocks in the Park. A photo permit is required. Wedding photoshoots inside the Museum are only available if you have booked your wedding with us.

Please contact us at private.events@agakhanmuseum.org for more details, so we can work with you to plan a memorable photoshoot that you will take pride in for a lifetime.
