Enrich your Museum experience by taking a tour with a knowledgeable Museum guide.

Museum Highlights Public Tour

Tuesday – Sunday, 11 am

Deepen your appreciation of the Museum’s collections of manuscripts, drawings, paintings, metalwork, ceramics, and other artifacts dating from the 8th to the 21st centuries. The tour also delves into more detail about the architectural masterpiece that is the Aga Khan Museum.

Private Guided Group Tours

Private Tours can be arranged for any group size and must be booked in advance. Tours can be customized to suit the needs of your group, please see our Group Visit Information Booklet at the link below, for more details.

Tour Rates

Public Tour Rates

$10 per person for adults

$5 for seniors (65+)

$5 for children and students (ages 6–17 or full-time post-secondary with ID)

Museum admission is required in addition to all tour fees.

Private Tour Rates

$150 for adults

$120 for children and students (6–17 or full-time post-secondary with ID) and seniors (65+)

Special admission rates are available for groups of 10 or more and listed below.

Please purchase your ticket at the Farida & Ally Esmail & Family Guest Services Centre upon arrival at the Museum with supporting ID for discount eligibility. Tours are on a first come first served basis.

Museum and Gallery Etiquette

Group leaders, please ensure that your entire group arrives together and on time. Once you have all assembled, please check in and collect your tickets from the Farida & Ally Esmail & Family Guest Services Centre at the Museum’s main entrance. If you have booked a guided tour, please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tour. Please leave all bags and jackets at the Museum’s complimentary Coat Check. A Guest Services Representative will guide you through this process.

Gallery Tour Guidelines

Please always keep your valuables with you. The Museum is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Food (including gum) and drinks are not allowed in the galleries. Please do not bring outside art materials into the galleries unless otherwise specified and agreed upon at the time of booking. Do not touch the objects and works of art unless otherwise specified. Photography without flash (camera or using handheld devices) is permitted for personal use throughout the Museum unless otherwise indicated by signage or a Museum representative. Please turn your cell phone to vibrate or silent, especially if you are participating in a guided program. Please be respectful of other visitors, particularly in terms of volume and crowding.
