Personal Data is collected from you in various ways, including according as described below. Personal Data may also be collected directly from you or indirectly from sources where the law so permits.
From time to time, you may provide Personal Data to us, including via the Site, through your interactions with the Museum (e.g. services, events, projects, or programs). By providing Personal Data, you are consenting to the Museum’s use of the Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and you consent that the Museum may disclose this information to other members of the AKDN and related entities or to third-party providers, inside or outside your country of residence, for data processing or to support services or practices to which you have consented. If you do not wish to receive “cookies,” you may set your web browser to reject these, if your browser so permits.
- The Museum may use third parties to collect conversion tracking data and/or data for remarketing purposes (for example, understanding how visitors interact with the Museum’s website content and displaying tailored ads). These third parties may include, but may not be limited to, Facebook, and/or Google. It is possible to limit access to available data by enabling Do Not Track (DNT) in a browser window, and/or opting-out in account settings, and/or adjusting privacy controls.

Web beacons can be refused when delivered via e-mail. If you do not wish to receive Web beacons via e-mail, you will need to disable HTML images in your e-mail software.
