Lapis Ball 2024: Be the Light
On September 27, the Aga Khan Museum and Park were illuminated for Lapis Ball: Be the Light. Over 450 guests gathered to celebrate the Museum’s 10th anniversary and raised a record $1.5 million in support of the Museum’s mission to spark wonder, curiosity, and understanding of Muslim cultures and their connection with other cultures through the arts.
Guests dined under the stars in the Aga Khan Park before enjoying a world-premiere performance by Hatim Belyamani, Bageshree Vaze, Vineet Vyas, and Eduardo Guerrero González, and engaging in a variety of exclusive opportunities and activities, including viewing The Court of Kayumars, brought out of the Museum vault for one night only, a photo studio hosted by celebrity photographer George Pimentel, and the chance to take home a custom Museum themed scent designed by Orris Labs.
