Rumi
May 13–October 1, 2023

Opening this spring, Rumi invites visitors to explore the life and timeless legacy of one of history's most impactful poets.

Take a journey through the life and timeless legacy of Jalal al-Din Muhammad of Balkh (d. 1273), known as Rumi, in an inspiring exhibition celebrating one of history's most famous poets on the 750th anniversary of his passing. Join us as we explore Rumi's enduring impact on arts and culture, past and present — from artifacts and manuscripts to contemporary art and pop culture.

Globally renowned for his messages of love and inner transformation, Rumi's mystical writings have been reinterpreted for audiences across many centuries and languages, yet, 750 years later, his core messages of peace and love remain universal, providing grounding in a world that often feels out of control.
