Enjoy a weekend full of free tours, family activities, live music, and more as Doors Open returns to the Aga Khan Museum, Aga Khan Park, and Ismaili Centre Toronto.
Architecture-Inspired Tours
Free | 10:30 am–4:30 pm
Immerse yourself in the Museum’s award-winning architecture, Formal Gardens, and Courtyard with a free tour. Plus, enjoy a rare opportunity to step inside the Nanji Family Foundation Auditorium — one of the Museum’s true architectural gems.
The 20-minute tours are offered every 30 minutes and are limited to 20 visitors per session. Tickets will be available outside the main doors on a first-come, first-served basis.
Family Activities
Live Object Storytelling • Museum Collections Gallery • 10:30 am–5 pm
Join the Museum’s Educators as they bring objects from the Permanent Collection to life.
Arts and Crafts • Education Centre* • 10:30 am–5 pm
*Tickets will be issued outside the Education Centre on a first-come, first-served basis 15 minutes before each session. Sessions begin on the half-hour and are 20 minutes in duration. The last session begins at 4:30 pm.
TD Pop-Up Performances

Watch and listen as local artists bring the Museum and Park to life with free live performances throughout the day. Pop-Up Performances at the Museum are sponsored by TD Bank Group.

Experience the breathtaking work of Kurdish-Iraqi artist Hayv Kahraman. Nabog, from the series How Iraqi Are You?, reflects on the artist’s childhood in Iraq and the lasting cultural traditions that shape stories of belonging.
Hassan Hajjaj: La Salle de Gym des Femmes Arabes • Aga Khan Park • FREE
Take a walk through La Salle de Gym des Femmes Arabes (The Arab Women’s Gym), a vibrant series of photographs by multidisciplinary artist Hassan Hajjaj, where sport and fashion blend to celebrate diverse expressions of identity, strength, and style.
Getting to the Museum
The Museum is easy to get to by public transit. Take Line 5 and get off at Aga Khan Park & Museum Station. From downtown, take the 100A, 25B, or 925 from Broadview Station. From the north, take the 925 bus southbound on Don Mills Rd (route begins at Steeles). Use the TTC’s Trip Planner to plan your route.
The Museum is accessible by car via Don Mills Rd, Eglinton Ave East, or the Don Valley Parkway (DVP). Take the Wynford Dr exit.
Bicycle parking is available free of charge.
Doors Open Toronto
Doors Open is a free event that invites the public to discover Toronto’s sites of architectural, historical, and cultural significance. Since its inception in 2000, Doors Open Toronto has attracted more than two million visits to nearly 700 unique locations. It is Canada’s largest Doors Open event and one of the three largest in the world.
