Create and Connect
The Create and Connect Program at the Aga Khan Museum offers seniors 55+ engaging workshops inspired by the Museum’s Permanent Collection of over 1200 masterpieces.
About
The Create and Connect Program at the Aga Khan Museum offers seniors (55+) engaging workshops inspired by the Museum’s Permanent Collection of 1,200 masterpieces. These sessions promote cross-cultural connections, creative expression, well-being, and lifelong learning. The program is offered through our partnerships with community organizations.
In these sessions, participants create various hands-on activities under the guidance of the Museum’s expert Educators. Each program begins with a brief tour of the Museum Collections Gallery. Following the tour, participants return to the classroom to create. Toward the end of the program, participants will enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, make new friends, and explore the Museum on their own accord, all while enjoying the TD Pop-Up Performances. Before leaving, participants are invited to spend 5 to 10 minutes participating in a brief program feedback session. At the end of the visit, each participant will receive a free 1-year individual membership to the Aga Khan Museum.
This program is made possible through the generous support of an anonymous donor.
Seniors wishing to participate will need to directly contact those community partners affiliated with Create and Connect. Bookings are made directly via each organization.
