The Aga Khan Museum requires that anyone using our images follow the below principles of use:

Images must be accompanied by the proper object caption information which can be found on the object record. Using proper caption information allows for artworks in The Aga Khan Museum collection to be properly identified and researched by others.

The work cannot be used in a manner that would or could impair, harm or tarnish the reputation or image of AKM or its namesake, His Highness the Aga Khan, or otherwise be depicted in a negative manner.

Image Requests

AKM reserves the right to terminate licenses that do not comply with the above requirements. To obtain high resolution images or for commercial use purposes of the images (including publications and exhibitions), please submit your request by filling out the appropriate form and emailing it to imagerequest@agakhanmuseum.org. Once the form has been submitted, please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.
