The Rosh Riddims Band

Formed in 2023, the Rosh Riddims Band, comprised of Canada’s top musicians, has quickly become a force to be reckoned with. Their six-month residency at the Drake Hotel has solidified their reputation for delivering mesmerizing Reggae and Dancehall Fusion performances. With a rich tapestry of Reggae, Dancehall, Jazz, and cultural rhythms from the Caribbean, the Rosh Riddims Band crafts music that speaks to the heart and soul.

Roshane Wright, a two-time Juno Award-winning percussionist, drummer, composer, and educator, hails from the vibrant musical landscape of Portmore, Jamaica. With a journey that began at the tender age of 7, Wright has carved a niche in the music world, captivating audiences with his dynamic rhythms and soulful beats.

A former musical accompanist and educator at Jamaica’s prestigious Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, Wright has spent five years shaping the next generation of musicians. His extensive touring experience across Jamaica has seen him masterfully blending Caribbean, African Fusion, Reggae, and Dancehall, creating an irresistible sound that transcends borders.

Now based in Canada, Wright continues to push musical boundaries with his latest single, “Music From the Heart,” featuring renowned drummer Larnell Lewis. This summer, he is set to release his highly anticipated EP, “Yaad to Abroad,” a project that promises to showcase his innovative fusion of genres.
