Tannis Nielsen

Tannis Nielsen (b. Red Deer, Alberta, 1970) is an Anishnaabe-Red River Métis multidisciplinary artist and academic. Her work explores Indigenous decolonization methodologies, oral histories, feminism, and the relative investigations between Indigenous science and quantum physics. Nielsen has been an advisory member to Native Women in the Arts and the past President of the Association for Native Development in the Performing and Visual Arts.
