Rachana Deshpande and Anita Katakkar
Vidushi Rachana Deshpande holds a master’s degree in Hindustani Music from Bharati Vidyapeeth University in Pune. She received formal training from Ramesh Abhyankar, Anjali Malkar, and Apoorva Gokhale, and continues her musical practice and training under the guidance of renowned vocalist Apoorva Gokhale.
Anita Katakkar is a multifaceted composing, performing, and recording artist with a focus on North Indian tabla. Her tabla journey began over 20 years ago and includes 16 years of study with celebrated tabla maestro of the Lucknow tradition, Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri.
