Olafur Eliasson

Olafur Eliasson (b. Copenhagen, Denmark, 1967) is an internationally acclaimed Icelandic-Danish artist. He is known for sculptural, large-scale installations and interventions in public spaces. Eliasson challenges the way viewers see and experience the world around them by employing natural elements such as light, water, air, and the environment. Eliasson has been the recipient of numerous international awards and prizes.
