Mercedes Ruiz

One of the most esteemed dancers in Spain, Mercedes Ruiz has won countless prestigious flamenco dance awards such as the Critics Award at the Jerez Festival and the Exhibition Award at the Seville Biennial. She has been performing professionally since the age of seven and has toured across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Ruiz started her own company, Compañía Mercedes Ruiz in 2003 and has since created 10 award-winning productions.
