Karla García
Originally from Castro, Isla de Chiloé, Chile, classical guitarist Karla García is a Toronto-based musician and teacher.
After years of playing classical music, García discovered her passion for music composition, production, and Latin American music. In her compositions, García blends modern and traditional rhythms such as Waltz and Cueca from Chile.
As a performer, she has played a wide variety of musical genres, including contemporary, folk, fado, rock, classical, Celtic, Latin American, and more. She has also participated in many guitar festivals and concerts around South and North America.
