Haneen Women's Choir

The Haneen Women’s Choir and its associated non-profit organization were founded in 2018 by Rahaf Alakbani. Haneen is a Toronto-based organization with a mission to reinvigorate Arab heritage, preserve Arab identity, and empower newcomer women through the power of music. Their core objective is to uplift Arab women in Canada by providing a nurturing platform for musical and artistic expression and fostering a safe and supportive community for women to share their love for music. Beyond music, they offer social and emotional support, helping Arab women integrate into Canadian society through arts-focused programs.
