Farruquito

Farruquito, born Juan Manuel Fernández Montoya, is the heir to a legendary Gypsy flamenco dynasty and hailed as the greatest flamenco dancer of this century (The New York Times). Son of flamenco legends, he was immersed in the art from an early age, making his international debut at four on Broadway. At 11, he starred in the film Flamenco by Carlos Saura, launching his illustrious career. Following his grandfather’s death, Farruquito became the head of the Farruco flamenco lineage, creating and touring critically acclaimed shows like Raíces Flamencas and Improvisao. His performances have earned him global recognition, including a sold-out season at Teatro Central and collaborations with top artists and directors. Dedicated to preserving the purest form of flamenco, Farruquito continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
