Farnaz Ohadi

Originally from Iran, Farnaz Ohadi performed in choirs and called worshipers to prayer. In Canada, she trained in opera with Frederik Robert and studied Persian classical music with Ostad Nezakaty. Since 2002, she has performed flamenco, studying under Oscar Nieto and others. In 2021, she moved to Sevilla to study at Fundación Cristina Heeren. Farnaz blends Persian poetry with flamenco, releasing her debut album “Bird Dance” in 2017, which was nominated for a CFMA award. Her latest album, “Breath,” is set for release in 2024.
