El Farru

Antonio Fernández Montoya, known as “El Farru,” is a renowned flamenco artist born in Seville in 1988. He comes from a legendary flamenco family: his father is the singer Juan “El Moreno,” his mother is the dancer “La Farruca,” his brother is the dancer Farruquito, and his grandfather is the iconic flamenco artist Farruco.

El Farru debuted at age 2 in Berlin and at 6 starred in the film Bodas de Gloria. By 10, he founded Los Gnomos del Flamenco, performing worldwide. His career includes performing with his brother Farruquito in Farruquito y Familia and creating his solo show Farruco in 2006, which toured globally. He also collaborated with artists like Beyoncé, Björk, and Marc Anthony, and directed Los Farrucos with his family.

In 2012, he founded Farru y Compañía, gaining international success. His flamenco is not just a performance, but a deep expression of his being.
