Carlos Merino, born in Jerez de la Frontera in 1984, began his percussion career at the age of 14. A versatile musician, he excels in Oriental, Brazilian, Latin, Flamenco, and African percussion. Merino has performed with jazz trios, Flamenco artists, dance companies, and in various global music genres. He owns a recording studio and is trained in audiovisual production, offering online percussion recording and music production services. Notable festival appearances include Bienal de Sevilla, Festival de Jerez, and Festival Internacional de las Artes de Costa Rica.
