Buffalo Charging Drum
Buffalo Charging Drum (formerly All Nations Juniors) was founded in 2012 as an urban drum group blending traditional with contemporary style. Emerging from Toronto Council Fire’s Little Embers program, the group carries forward a strong presence of community and culture.
Made up of youth from Nations across Turtle Island, including Dakota, Ojibway, Chippewa, Cree, and Haudenosaunee, along with invited non-Indigenous singers, the group reflects the spirit of “All Nations.” As the original All Nations drum group stepped into adulthood and family responsibilities, Buffalo Charging rose to continue the drum’s powerful legacy.
Today, they are recognized as an honourable drum group, uplifting the community through song, unity, and tradition.
