Anthony Gladue
Anthony Gladue is Plains Cree from Kehewin Cree Nation, whose love for performance began at just six years old. A graduate of the Centre for Indigenous Theatre (CIT), he has grown into a versatile, multi-disciplinary artist, sharing his cultural knowledge and creative talents with communities across Canada.
Deeply committed to his culture, Anthony is a Traditional dancer, a Native flute player, and a Pow Wow singer. Through both performance and teaching, he works to celebrate and sustain Indigenous traditions. He currently serves as the Kizhaay Anishinaabe Niin (“I Am a Kind Man”) Coordinator at Toronto Council Fire Native Cultural Centre, where he supports programs focused on fostering healthy relationships, community wellbeing, and violence prevention.
